Vote: Able Baker ‘Pie Queen’ Nominated for Saveur Magazine Best Food Blog

When she’s not rolling out dough, Ellen Gray — chief pie baker at The Able Baker in Maplewood– is writing about pie and other desserts on her popular food blog, “No More Mr. Nice Pie.”

Now, Gray has been nominated as a finalist in the acclaimed Saveur Magazine’s 2018 Best Food Blog awards, in the Best Baking and Sweets category.

“‘No More Mr. Nice Pie’ is a weekly blog that explores the connection between well-worn rolling pins, family, seasonality, and popular culture,” Gray told Village Green.
