Bring Unwanted Stuffed Toys to Pet Wants South Orange for ‘Glad Dogs’ Collection Thru Dec 31

From Pet Wants in South Orange, NJ:

Pet Wants in South Orange is turning sad dogs into glad dogs.

Pet Wants SOMA is collecting unwanted stuffed kid toys for Glad Dogs Nation, a non-profit that turns them into safe and fun dog and cat toys, sells them at a reasonable price, and donates 100% of the profits to animal welfare programs.

Pet Wants SOMA will be collecting gently used stuffed toys in all sizes through December 31,2018. Even Beanie Babies are welcome.

Glad Dogs Nation sanitizes donated stuffed toys and the organization’s volunteers remove all dangerous elements to make them pet safe and ready to be loved by dogs and cats across the country. It’s a real “second life” for the stuffed toys children outgrow.

In addition, local Girl Scout troop 20393 is hosting a Glad Dogs sewing event for the troop to upcycle toys that have already been collected and turn them into dog and cat toys to donate to local shelter and rescue animals.

If your home is overstuffed with stuffed toys, bring them to Pet Wants in South Orange between November 1 and December 31, 2018 and donate them to a worthy cause.
