What town do you live in? South Orange

Where did you live before that? Rockville, MD

What brought you to SOMA? Husband’s job

What do you do (for a living or as a serious hobby)? I am a fundraising consultant and own my own business Mission Driven Fundraising (missiondrivenfundraising.com).

What’s your favorite feature of your home? Hard to pick just one feature — I love it all!

Where do you love to go on a date night? Carvel…we always end up there for dessert!

What’s music/album are you really into these days? Anything my Amazon echo plays

If you could have a super-power, what would it be? Mind reading

What’s the best book you’ve read in the last 5 years? Lilac Girls

What’s something that amazes you? NYC…still feel like a kid in a candy store every time I’m there (even though I lived there for 6+ years)

Describe your family: Handy and kitchen extraordinaire husband and an energetic and curious toddler

Describe your ideal day: Any day spent with family…or a massage

Favorite local place to eat? Boccone South — Amazing gluten sensitive options (including pizza AND pasta)!

Who/What did you aspire to be when you were little? A lawyer helping people

What is your favorite store? Costco

Mountains or Beach? Beach – grew up in Florida

Favorite movie? Don’t have one

What inspires you? People who give selflessly of their time

How would you describe your “style”? Mom comfortable

Coffee or tea? Coffee. Lots and lots and lots of it.

What charity are you passionate about/how do you live out “CareServeGive? Working in fundraising, I get to spend my days helping small to medium-size nonprofits grow their fundraising efforts and become sustainable. Locally, I am most passionate about Take the Cake (www.take-the-cake.org/), who provides fun, special and customized parties, free of charge, to families who could not otherwise celebrate their children’s birthdays.
