Auto Thefts Lead Police Week in Maplewood

There were two auto thefts, and one attempted, last week in Maplewood. Here is the information from Sgt. Christopher Black of the Maplewood Police Dept.:

April 27, 2016; Auto Theft; During the overnight hours a Dodge Caravan was stolen from the parking lot at 50-58 Burnett Ave. It was later recovered in Irvington.

April 27, 2016; Attempt Auto Theft; Between 9 AM and 11 PM unknown actor/s caused damage to a Caravan parked in a driveway of a Burnett Ave residence consistent with an attempted theft.

April 28, 2016; Auto Theft; Between 5 AM and 6 AM an Acura was stolen from in front of a Colgate residence. The vehicle was recovered a short distance away in Union.
