Burglaries Lead This Week’s Maplewood Police Blotter

The following is from Sgt. Christopher Black of the Maplewood Police Dept:

March 29, 2016; Burglary; At approximately 12:30 AM, residents of a home on Gifford Ct reported hearing noises on the first floor of their home. When they checked the home, the found a window open and that a laptop, purse and cash were missing. Officers responded and checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect/s.

March 31, 2016; Burglary to Vehicle; During the morning hours, a van parked on Irvington Ave was broken into and tools were stolen.

The Maplewood Police Department works hard to protect the residents and their property. We are asking that you assist us in this effort by making sure all vehicles and homes are properly secured at all times. Thank you
