Maplewood Police Release Sketch of ‘Person of Interest’ in Burglaries

The following is from the Maplewood Police Department:

The Maplewood Police Department is currently investigating 3 burglaries and a Trespassing incident that occurred during the overnight hours.

June 4, 2015; Trespassing; It was reported that on June 4th at 3:47 am, an Oakview Ave resident observed an unknown male in his kitchen. The individual stated he was looking for someone and subsequently left the residence. Nothing was taken. The individual is described as a dark skin black male, approximately 6 feet tall, 160-170 lbs, 25-30 years of age with close cut black hair wearing a long gray sleeve shirt, gray sweat pants and black sneakers.

June 5, 2015; Burglary; It was reported that on May 29th, money was found to be missing from a home on Oakview Ave and it is believed to have occurred during the overnight hours.

June 5, 2015; Burglary; It was reported that on June 4th between midnight and 6:30 AM cash was taken from inside of a home on Mountainview Terr. No other items were removed.

June 9, 2015; Burglary; It was reported that an individual may have gained access to a residence on Van Ness Terr and possibly removed a wallet from the home.

In all cases, the suspect gained entry through an unsecured door or window. As a result of the ongoing investigation, a composite sketch was completed for a person of interest.
