Maplewood Police: Shots Fired on Peachtree Rd., No Injuries Reported

Maplewood Police received several reports of possible shots fired at the intersection of Peachtree and Woodside Roads Friday night. After receiving multiple calls at around 10:15 p.m., police responded to the area and found several shell casings, said Sgt. Christopher Black. It did not appear that anything was struck by gun fire, Black said, and the investigation is continuing.

September 12, 2016; Burglary; During the daytime hours, entry was forced to a home on Orchard Rd. Cash and jewelry were reported to have been stolen by the resident.

September 12, 2016; Motor Vehicle Theft; Between 8:30 Am and 9:45 AM a Honda was stolen from the driveway of a home on Hudson Ave.

September 13, 2016; Bicycle Theft; A resident on Gifford Ct reported that abicycle was stolen from their yard sometime over the last two days.

September 17, 2016; Burglary; Sometime over the previous few day, entry was forced to a home on South Pierson Rd. At the time of the report, nothing was believed to be missing.

September 18, 2016; Attempted Burglary; A resident of Meadowbrook Pl reported that on 9/17, at approximately 11:30 PM, they observed an open window in their home and a male standing outside the window. He called to the male who then fled.
