PHOTOS: Maplewood Firefighters Remove Trapped Passenger From Vehicle

Maplewood firefighter removed a trapped passenger from a vehicle on Friday, February 8, at the intersection of Elmwood Avenue and Oakland Terrace in the aftermath of a two-vehicle accident.

Today, at 1550hrs, Platoon 1 responded to their tenth emergency response of the Day, on a report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival, personnel found one patient trapped in the vehicle. Extrication operations began and, shortly thereafter, the patient was safely removed from the vehicle. The patient was treated and then transported to an area hospital. Strong work by our members to serve the residents of Maplewood!
