South Orange Police arrested a 19-year-old Newark man who allegedly stole an iPhone from a car on Hartford Avenue on January 2.
Police said officers responded to a call of a burglary taking place at around 11:30 a.m., and saw the man fleeing on Finley Place. The man also fought with officers in an attempt to resist arrest. After arresting the man, police found the iPhone on him.
The man was charged with burglary and resisting arrest, said police.
