CHS Grad Marques Brownlee (Class of ’11) Featured in Steph Curry Video

Marques Brownlee has been big news for years.

Brownlee debuted his YouTube gadget/technology review channel MKBHD in 2009 — while still a student at Columbia High School (he graduated in 2011).

He continued to build audience and was profiled in Business Insider for his skill and prowess in reviewing technology.while still at Steven’s Institute of Technology in Hoboken (he graduated in 2015).

In 2016, he participated in a nationally televised debate between Democratic Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

Dubbed “the best technology reviewer on the planet” by former Google VP Vic Gundotra, Brownlee now has more than 5.8 million subscribers to his YouTube channel and has had more than 851 million views of his videos.

Brownlee (whose dad Marlon served on the Maplewood Township Committee) has long been rubbing shoulders with celebrities.

Now he can add NBA champion Stephen Curry to the list. Watch for the  1:03 mark:
