Come one, come all!!  USATF New Jersey in conjunction with famed Columbia High School coach Lisa Morgan is hosting a Hershey Run, Jump, and Throw Clinic for FREE. This event is a hands-on learning program that will have the kids excited while getting them physically involved. The children will be introduced to the basics of running, jumping and throwing through track and field. These same skills are the foundation to most sports such as, basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, and many more.

The FREE event is open to all youth from grades K-8 and will be held on Sunday, June 7, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Underhill Field. The Run Jump Throw clinic will feature learning stations, including dynamic warm-up, running form and technique, one-legged hop, standing broad jump, softball throw and more.  During the program, participating youths will have the chance to perform and display their new skills, hard work and talent as they celebrate their achievements.

The clinic is organized and directed by Columbia High School’s Cross Country/Track and Field Coach Lisa Morgan.  Morgan is a 2014 Newark Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee, USA Track & Field/ NJ Delegate, 3x New Jersey State Coach of the Year and coach of the New Balance National Team Champions 2010.
