Maplewood Rec Offers Fall Cooking Classes for Children Pre-K to 8th Grade

From the Maplewood Department of Recreation. All Maplewood Rec programs are open to South Orange and Maplewood residents.

Registration is currently open for the Maplewood Fall 2015 Recreation Cooking Classes.  All classes are held at the Maplewood Community Center, 120 Burnett Avenue.  They are all drop off classes.  Emphasis will be on the Fall Season. Class size is limited to 8 children. 

Mini chef Mondays 4 – 5 PM begins Monday Sept.21st.  It runs for 8 weeks for $110.00 for children 5  – 8 years old.  9/21 – 11/09.

Mini Chef I Thursdays 4 – 5 PM begins Thursday Sept.24th and runs for 8 weeks for $110.00 for children 4 – 6 years old. 9/24 – 11/19 ( no class 11/5) 

Junior Chef Tuesdays 4 – 5:15 PM begins Tuesday Sept.22nd and runs for 8 weeks for $120.00 for children in grades 3 – 5.  9/22 – 11/17. ( no class 11/3).

Chef in Training Wednesdays 4 – 5:30 PM begins Wednesday Sept. 30th and runs for 8 weeks for $130.00  for children in grades 5 – 8.  9/30 – 11/18.

Baking for the Holidays II Mondays 4 – 5 PM begins Monday Nov. 30th and runs for 3 weeks for $40.00 for children 5 – 8 years old. 11/30 – 12/14.

Baking for the Holidays I Thursdays 4 – 5 PM begins Thursday Dec. 3rd and runs for 3 weeks for $40.00 for children 4 – 7 years old.  12/3 – 12/17.

Holiday Baking for Kids Tuesdays 4 – 5:15 PM. begins Tuesday Dec. 1st and runs for 3 weeks for $45.00 for children in grades 3 – 5.  12/1 – 12/15.

Holiday Baking Creations for Kids Wednesdays 4 – 5:30 PM begins Wednesday Dec 2nd and runs for 3 weeks for $50.00 for children in grades 5 – 8. 12/2 – 12/ 16.

Registration may be done at the Maplewood Recreation Office, 574 Valley Street Monday – Friday 9:00AM– 4:30 PM  or online at https://register.communitypass.net/maplewood.  The programs are listed under Fall/Winter 2015 -16.
