Millburn Students Show the Love for Valentine’s Day

Millburn School District students recently participated in a variety of Valentine’s Day-related activities:

Cookie Grams for Valentines Day

The Millburn High School Habitat for Humanity Club held a Valentine’s Day cookie-gram sale to raise funds for their first build this spring and beyond.  Club members raised almost $300 by selling homemade decorated cookies for $1 each to be delivered to students, teachers for Valentine’s Day, beginning a new annual tradition.

Valentines for Veterans

Hartshorn School students continued their annual tradition of sending Valentines to Veterans, coordinated by 5th grade teacher Michele Orsini.

More than 200 Hartshorn students created cards, which will be delivered to the Veteran’s Memorial Home in Edison, NJ
