A rainstorm and a few zombies didn’t stop more than 50 people from participating in the Marshall Un-Run to benefit Marshall/Jefferson schools.

The “unsanctioned, uncompetitive, unorganized, uncommonly fun” 5K race was hosted by Nick Pai and sponsored by Mark Slade of Keller Williams. We’re guessing the zombies were representing the “undead.”

The run started at Marshall School playground, looped through the Montrose neighborhood and headed back to end at Marshall.

Entry fee was $25/runner; entrants were asked to bring a check to the race (very uncomplicated!).
