Columbia High School teacher Nicole Dufault, accused of assaulting six of her male students, is seeking the dismissal of some of the charges against her, according to a report on NJ.com.

Dufault, who was indicted in February on 40 counts of aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, filed a motion Monday to dismiss the child endangerment charges, said the report.

Dufault’s attorney, Timothy Smith, is also pursuing a motion to sever the charges, which would mean she would face separate trials for each of the alleged victims.
