Still need to work over the holidays but don’t know what to do with the kids?
They can still have a great holiday break with South Mountain YMCA’s Vacation Camp which runs December 28-31, 7:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. (closing 3 p.m. on Dec. 31) at 13 Jefferson Street in Maplewood. The camp accepts the first 70 kids to register, grades K-5. As of Monday afternoon, Dec. 21, there were still spaces remaining.
The camp day includes games, sports, art & crafts and a variety of other activities. A bag lunch is required, but the Y supplies a snack each afternoon. The cost is $80 per child/day, but is only $55 for Dec. 31 due to the early closing time.
