South Orange-Maplewood Intro’s Preliminary $200M School Budget for 2026/27

In order to balance the budget, the district is currently proposing to eliminate a total of 23 full-time positions, mostly through attrition, but is predicting at this time that 5 of those 23 would be through reductions in force or RIFs.
