South Orange – Maplewood Recognizes Retiring Teachers, Admins

The South Orange – Maplewood School District held its annual Staff Recognition ceremony on Monday, to honor teachers and staff who are retiring from the district.

Employees were introduced by administrators from their various departments, who highlighted the employees’ history in the district and accomplishments. This year, three elementary school principals are retiring: Tina Lehn from South Mountain School, Mark Quiles from Seth Boyden and Patricia O’Neill from Clinton School.

Other notable retirements include: Candys Beattys, Supv. of Math; Judith Hanratty, Supv. ELA K-8; CHS Asst. Principal Michael Healy; and Alan Levin, who served for more than three decades and was Supv. of Science at CHS.
