Did you know the South Orange-Maplewood Adult School Children’s Summer Program has sports camps? It’s a great way to try out a sport in a low-pressure, fun environment. Choose from co-ed basketball, fencing, track, soccer or girls volleyball. They each run from 9am-12pm in one-week sessions from July 1-26. Campers can combine the sports camps with any of the afternoon Children’s Summer Program courses in creative arts, music and enrichment.
Basketball will be run by head coach of Columbia High School Girls Basketball, Jazmine Wright; Fencing by the NJ Fencing Alliance; Track by Columbia High School Hall of Fame inductee and head coach of Bloomfield College’s Cross Country and Track & Field Lisa Morgan; and Soccer and Volleyball by Sophie Hart-Ruderman, Columbia High School Girls Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach.
