Still Space on 3rd Bus for Maplewood Ski Club

The Maplewood Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs will once again be offering Friday night Ski & Snowboard Trips this winter to Mountain Creek. This program is open to all Maplewood and South Orange children in grades 6-12.

Ski Trips will be held for 6 consecutive Fridays at the Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon, NJ beginning Friday, January 9, 2015. The bus for the trips leaves Maplewood at 3:45 p.m., departing from the Maplewood Community Pool on Boyden Ave. The bus returns at 11:00 p.m.

Ski Trip Dates:
January 9th
January 16th
January 23rd
January 30th
February 6th
February 13th

Make-up Dates:
February 27th
March 6th


Cost (per participant):

Transportation for Trips (bus): $100.00*
*(Mandatory for Ski Club)

Lift Card (valid for 6 ski club trips only): $139.99

Ski Club Member Season Pass:
 $229.99*
(Ski at all 6 trips with our club plus any other
time during the season)
*(after 10/31, price increases to $239.99)

Fun Pack:
 $19.99
(includes Alpine Mountain Coaster (one ride per visit),
Soaring Eagle Zip-lining (one ride per visit), and Snow Tubing (2 hour session per visit))

Meal Vouchers (6 vouchers): $53.70
(choice of burger, pizza or chicken fingers w/ fries & fountain soda)

Premium Meal Vouchers (6 vouchers): $65.70
(Grab & Go sandwich, salad, sushi, or soup w/ fruit,
or yogurt & juice, water or milk)

*STEP 1- Register for a seat on our bus. This is $100 and can be done by:

* STEP 2: After purchasing transportation, an email will be sent to you with the information on how to purchase additional items from Mountain Creek directly (lift ticket, season pass, food vouchers rental skis, ect). Emails will be sent to the email address that you have set up with you Community Pass account.

Chaperones:
Those with an interest in chaperoning the ski trips this year should contact Bobby at the Maplewood Recreation Department by calling (973) 763-4202 or emailing recinfo@twp.maplewood.nj.us. Volunteers are asked to be available for all 6 trips.
