Maplewood Begins Dunnell Road, Baker Street Construction Wednesday

A project to improve handicap ramps along the route to the school, near the main branch of the Maplewood Memorial Library and the Maplewood Train Station on Dunnell Road and Baker Street will begin on our about August 6, according to an alert from Maplewood Township.

Once the concrete work is completed, the town reported, the road will be paved. Baker St. will be repaved from the railroad trestle to Valley Street and Dunnell Road will be repaved from Baker Street to Oakview Avenue.

In order to reduce disruptions to traffic and commuters, the paving work will be performed during overnight hours.
