SOMA Action to Host Town Hall Meeting with NJ Assembly Reps Jasey & McKeon March 16 in Maplewood

SOMA ACTION will host a Town Hall Meeting with our representatives Assemblywoman Mila Jasey and Assemblyman John McKeon on Saturday, March 16th, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Morrow Memorial Church (600 Ridgewood Rd, Maplewood). The Town Hall Meeting is an opportunity to put democracy in action. SOMA Action promotes increased transparency and accountability at all levels of government. It aims to educate voters about local issues that affect their lives, inform citizens about pending bills, and give our community opportunities to discuss its concerns and get answers from elected officials about what is going on in Trenton and around our state. Join us at the meeting and ask our representatives about things like:

  • Taxation and fairness
  • Marijuana legalization and racial justice
  • The state of our schools
  • Transparency in government
  • Vital issues that matter for our community
