Fire at Burger King Causes Injury to Maplewood Firefighter

One Maplewood firefighter sustained an injury responding to a fire at the Burger King on Springfield Avenue on Saturday morning, June 1.

According to Captain Joseph Alvarez, the fire appeared to have started in the broiler and then extended into the ceiling.
