“The developer’s lawyer made it pretty clear at the hearing that he’ll sue so this story doesn’t yet have a definitive happy ending,” wrote neighbor Ellen Seidman, who has spearheaded efforts to save the towering tree. “But tonight, I’m grateful to live in a town that stands by its beautiful, old trees.”
