Obituary: Paige Garrubbo, Daughter of Garubo Salon Owners

Paige Garrubbo, daughter of Anthony and Renee Garrubbo, who own the Anthony Garubo Salon in Maplewood, passed away Thursday at the age of 42.

The salon will be closed on Tuesday, December 9 in honor of Paige’s life, according to an email the salon sent Friday. The email read, “Paige was a profound gift to her family and everybody in the world lucky enough to have spent time with her. She will forever be a special daughter, a cherished sister, and a beloved soul.”

A Chatham resident, Paige passed away in Morristown Medical Center on Dec. 4, according to an obituary in the Star-Ledger. Here is more information on the wake and funeral:

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 85 Washington Ave., Chatham, on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, N.J. Friends are invited to visit at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Chatham, on Monday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m.
