The Maplewood Township Committee voted 4-0 Tuesday (Greg Lembrich was absent) to approve the installation of a stop sign at the intersection of Midland Blvd. and Summit Avenue.
The township Engineering Dept. conducted a traffic study and determined that a sign was appropriate. It will be installed at the northwest corner of Midland Blvd. where it intersects Summit Ave.
Township Committeewoman India Larrier, a resident of Midland Blvd., said she was especially enthusiastic about the decision.
