Winter Storm Juno will be making a mess of the evening commute. Here’s what you need to know:

NJ Transit

NJ Transit cross-honoring is in effect systemwide from Monday, January 26 through and including Wednesday, January 28. Customers can use their ticket or pass on an alternate travel mode—rail, light rail or bus—including private bus carriers.

The last service for NJ TRANSIT’s rail, will depart from its point of origin at 8 p.m. tonight, Monday, and is scheduled to arrive at their final destinations by/at 10 p.m.

It is unclear when trains will resume, but according to some reports it might not be until Thursday. From NJ Transit email at 3:16 pm: “NJ TRANSIT will work hard to restore service as quickly as possible. Bus, light rail and Access Link service will resume when conditions permit.” At 3:23 p.m.: “Rail service will also resume when conditions permit and when mandatory federal inspections can be completed.”

PATH

PATH is switching to weekend service as of 9 p.m. Monday and will run every 15 minutes Newark-WTC and Journal Square-33rd Street (via Hoboken).

Subways

No express service after 8 p.m. Outside tracks and stations could be closed due to weather, but underground service is likely to stay open.

Busses

Scattered detours and delays have been reported. Also, NYC is banning all traffic after 11 p.m.; alternate side of the street parking is suspended.
