One of the community’s favorite fall events returns this Saturday, October 10  at Wyoming Presbyterian Church — Yes, it’s the Pumpkin Patch!

Saturday, October 10, at 9:00 a.m. volunteers will unload a tractor-trailer load of pumpkins onto the front lawn, transforming it almost magically into Millburn’s very own suburban pumpkin patch. Locals can drop by, rain or shine, to pick out their Halloween pumpkins and gourds.

The patch is open daily through Halloween (that’s October 31, of course), from 2:00- 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on weekends.

Wyoming Church will send 100% of the proceeds from the Patch to local and regional charities as well as to the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico where the pumpkins are grown. Some local missions that benefit are The Interfaith Hospitality Network, The House of Mercy Mission, The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless, and We Are Team Jersey (a rehab ministry for homes damaged by Hurricane Sandy).

Wyoming Presbyterian Church is located at 432 Wyoming Avenue, Millburn.
