One of South Orange’s two shredding days is coming this Saturday, June 18 from 8 a.m. to noon.
The shredding of paper documents will take place at the South Orange Department of Public Works, 300 Walton Avenue.
Trustee Walter Clarke said that residents can bring high grade (office) paper for shredding and should remove paper clips, binders and staples.
The vendor will provide a “certificate of destruction” to verify that all documents have been destroyed beyond recognition.
The second and final South Orange shredding day will take place on October 22.
The shredding is open to South Orange residents only.
