There’s more good stuff to come.

GrassRoots will continue to bring rejuvenating hours of health and wellness activities to the Episcopal Church of St. Andrew and the Holy Communion in South Orange through the fall season.

According to a release, GrassROOTS Community Foundation — or GCF — “believes that in order to nurture and maintain a healthy community, members must come together to support and develop a legacy of wellness. The overarching goal of the Wellness Wednesday Series—which will be held in collaboration with other youth and community members—is to foster intergenerational well-being.”

Wednesday, September 30 will feature an hour of yoga and meditation with Fayemi Shakur from 6-7 p.m.

Wellness Wednesdays are open to the public. Drop-ins are welcomed, but online reservations are strongly recommended.

Classes are FREE for seniors. Admission is $5 for youth (18 and under) and $10 for adults.

Wellness activities will be held every Wednesday from September 23 through December 16 from 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. with rotating instructors each week. Beginning October 7, Wellness Wednesday will host a variety of rotating activities:
