South Orange Residents: Temporary Ice Rink Installed in Meadowland Park

From the South Orange Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs:

The Village has installed a temporary ice rink in Meadowland Park for the winter months inside the tennis court area adjacent to the Baird.

The rink is open to South Orange residents with a current Recreation Department Membership I.D. and their guests. The guest fee is $5 per person per day. 2017 I.D. Badges are available for purchase now at the Baird. A 2016 I.D. Badge is also valid for ice rink access. The rink will be staffed by Recreation Department personnel and I.D. Badges will be checked at the gate.

Weather and ice conditions dictate when the rink will be open.

HOURS:

  • Monday-Friday 3:30 to 9:00 pm
  • Saturdays 12:00-9:00 pm
  • Sundays 12:00-6:00 pm

GUEST ENTRY- The only FREE entry is for residents with a 2016 OR 2017 I.D. Badge. I.D. Badge holders may bring guests and purchase access for guests by paying $5 at the Baird office.

HOCKEY – Hockey will be permitted at the discretion of the rink supervisor depending upon crowd and conditions.
