The following is from Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel.
The Women’s Connection at Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel (TSTI) recently hosted its annual Summer Sangria Soirée at the Reform synagogue in South Orange. In addition to socializing and savoring refreshing summertime treats, members had the opportunity to get to know TSTI’s new Assistant Rabbi, Allie Klein, via an impromptu question-and-answer session. Enjoying a moment with Rabbi Klein (second from right) are (L to R) TSTI board member Lisa Levine and Women’s Connection Co-Chair Melissa Robinson, both of Millburn; and Women’s Connection Co-Chair Alison Oxman of South Orange. The group holds events year ‘round for its members and guests, and invites women of all generations to connect through social, educational, cultural and intellectual activities within a Jewish context.
