Girls Night Out Returns to Maplewood

The weather held out and for the seventh year, the Maplewood Village Alliance (MVA) presented Girls Night Out, one of the town’s most popular annual events, on Thursday, June 5.

Throngs of ladies — and a few men — headed for Maplewood Village to eat, drink, shop, and spend some quality time with friends. GNO_2014[2]EDIT1

Over 20 participating merchants featured in-store events and special offers — everything from special discounts, signature cocktails and trunk shows to raffles, live music and more. See more at the MVA website.

Girls Night Out is sponsored by Alison Ziefert and Collette Andrews of Keller Williams Midtown Direct Realty.

This year, there were two new additions: a photo booth, and a DJ sponsored by Baker Street merchants Salvage Style and Shed.

Special, reusable Girls Night Out shopping bag, sponsored by Sunquest Funding, were available inside participating retail stores.

Tip Jars will were provided at the event to collect donations for the staff of Coda, to help support the waiters, bartenders and other employees who are out of work while the restaurant is rebuilt after last week’s tragic events.
