Girl Scouts aren’t just good for cookies.

They’re great at set design too (who knew?).

On Saturday, April 30, the girls of Troop 20648 helped 5th grade students from Seth Boyden Demonstration School in Maplewood build and decorate sets for “School House Rock Live Jr.”

Although labeled as a “service project,” the day was a labor of love for the Girl Scouts who are alumnae of Seth Boyden. Troop leaders Sue Rexford and Joyce Paton were on hand to help as well

The show runs Saturday night, May 21 and Sunday afternoon, May 22 (specifics and a link for ticket purchases coming soon!).
