Maplewood Police arrested Travis McKoy, 29, on June 18 after an investigation revealed he was allegedly responsible for two burglaries and a trespassing incident earlier this month, said Sgt. Christopher Black.

McKoy, a Maplewood resident, was charged with two overnight burglaries, one on Oakview Avenue and one on Mountainview Terrace, and a trespassing incident on Oakview, said Black. McKoy was released under a $50,000 bond.

Police had released a composite sketch of a suspect on June 9. McKoy was not identified through the sketch, said Black, although there is a resemblance. “He was identified as a person of interest and was then able to be linked through physical evidence left behind at the scenes,” said Black, who noted there is still an active investigation going on.
