73 district leaders — including 41 from South Orange & Maplewood — have signed a letter asking that the Dec. 2 Essex County Democrat endorsement convention for Gov.-Elect Mikie Sherrill’s former seat be delayed “to allow for the field of candidates to be finalized and for information to be received from the campaigns.”
