The Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills is preparing its 3rd annual Fall Festival, a fundraiser for Millburn schools that is open to all. This fun-filled event will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2014 at Millburn High School’s front lawn from 11 am – 3 pm. Families of all ages are invited to enjoy games, rides, music, food, and fun and have the opportunity to learn about the Education Foundation’s efforts to support all of our schools with programming, technology and much more!
“The support for Fall Festival from Millburn-Short Hills families over the past two years has been amazing,” says the non-profit’s co-president, Robin Eichler. “This year’s event will include entertainment and refreshments guaranteed to please the entire family from elementary through high school ages.” Adds co-president Lauri Palomaki, “We look forward to seeing our community come together for a day of fun and fundraising.”
Fun will be had at the many carnival games and rides for all ages including such hits as: mechanical bull (back by popular demand!), bungee run, Velcro wall, sumo wrestling, 77ft obstacle course, rock wall climbing, 4 Man Energizer, World of Sports, etc. Multiple food and refreshment vendors will satisfy all tastes.
Advance purchase of wristbands ($30) and ride/game/arts & crafts/food tickets ($1 each) are available now through September 18th at www.edfoundationmillburnshorthills.org. Wristbands include access to all rides and games plus 1 popcorn or 1 cotton candy AND 1 entry for a door prize. After September 18, wristbands are $35 and do not include the door prize entry.
