Kim Russo, known as “The Happy Medium,” is a psychic-medium who hosts the television show “The Haunting of…” currently airing on A&E’s Lifetime Movie network channel. Each episode of “The Haunting Of…” features an “on location” in-depth investigative exploration of a celebrity’s paranormal experience with the goal of providing closure to their story. During the course of an episode, Russo communicates with the “world of spirit” to bring understanding to the true story of why the events may be happening.
Russo comes to SOPAC November 19th at 7:30 p.m. During the live event with at SOPAC, the audience can expect “gallery style readings” where she circulates through the audience and “reads” several people in the course of 90 minutes. As a child Kim Russo often saw spirits in her bedroom and sometimes felt their presence as she walked home from school. Understandably, these experiences scared her. She began to understand her psychic gifts and to help people grow in understanding and spiritual healing and is now comforted by their presence. As an adult she decided to use her unique gift to help others gain a greater understanding of the spiritual world.
Russo has hosted celebrities such as Regis Philbin, Chazz Palminteri from “The Bronx Tale,” Giancarlo Esposito from “Breaking Bad” and many others on her show. Season Six premiered on October 22 with an investigation of a ghostly encounter experienced by musician Meatloaf in a recording studio. Russo has also appeared on A&E’s show “Paranormal State” as well as on episodes of the TV show “Psychic Kids” She was featured in Nick Bunick’s book Transitions of the Soul.
