The third time was the charm for the Two Towns Turkey Trot 5k and Kids Fun Run, which had its best year yet this morning with in its third annual run at South Mountain Reservation.
More than 240 registrants raised funds for the Tuscan School and Seth Boyden School PTAs. Seth Boyden teachers ran in gray shirts with pink ribbons in memory of their beloved colleague Joanne Jacques-Montilus, who succumbed to complications related to her 12-year battle with breast cancer this past September. The teachers also presented Montilus’ family with a donation to sponsor seven women for a weekend at Mary’s Place by the Sea in Ocean Grove. Clinton School was also well represented by its boys running program (letmerun.org).
