A hotly anticipated new South Orange restaurant, Ricalton’s Village Tavern, is set to open its doors to a hungry public Sunday, according to employees.
A visit to the site, located in the former Stuft Shirt space on Valley Road in the heart of downtown, Tuesday found workers busy putting the finishing touches on the multi-level space.
Owned by Stony Johnson of Stony’s Burgers also in South Orange, Ricalton’s will house an Irish pub on one level, a full-service restaurant and bar featuring American cuisine on the other, and a private party room.
