South Mountain Y Offers Kids ‘Learn to Ski’ Package for $125

You’d love for your kids to learn to ski, but lessons and gear are just too expensive, right?

Not any more.

The South Mountain YMCA has just received funding for a new ski lesson program starting this Sunday, February 14, and running four additional Sundays on Feb. 21 and 28 and March 6 and 13. Equipment fitting takes place Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. at 13 Jefferson Ave.

For only $125, children ages 6-18 years will get ski rental equipment, five professional ski lessons, transportation and a healthy meal. The skiing takes place at the National Winter Activity Center in Vernon, NJ. Buses leave from the Y At 13 Jefferson Avenue at 10:30 a.m. and return at 6 p.m.

Space is limited; registration deadline is Wednesday, Feb. 10.
