South Orange Police arrested Nicole Morris and Alexandra Garcia, both 18-year-old Seton Hall University students, on February 26 and charged them with allegedly filing false reports of a robbery near campus, according to the police blotter. The false report resulted in several alerts being generated and a police response “which not only resulted in an immediate and swift course of action by officers but also a Detective Bureau response that was unnecessary and wasteful,” police said. The subjects were charged accordingly and given dates to appear in court.
