Parents of young children in the area will have one more option for preschool come this September when Le Parc Place opens on Maplewood Avenue in Maplewood.
Le Parc Place Preschool at 195 Maplewood Avenue will introduce itself to local families with a series of open houses starting on Saturday, August 23 and running through Aug 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Interested parents can visit by appointment but walk-ins are also welcome. Evening appointments are available.
Le Parc Place is accepting applications for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years and provides after-school care.
On Saturday and Sunday, Mickey Mouse will be on hand for families to take pictures with between 1 and 2 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Parents can ask questions and learn more about the program, while kids can play and do arts and crafts.
“We encourage families that may not be looking for preschool to visit anyway,” said proprietor Zina Phillips, “because we offer weekend workshops and birthday party options.”
