You know that summer is winding down when (1) you can find parking easily in Maplewood Village because everyone is on vacation and (2) they start closing the pool early due to darkness.
The second sign of impending autumn was brought home recently when the Maplewood Community Pool issued an email notifying patrons of several changes at the pool:
- Due to swimming lessons ending, there will no longer be early morning hours (9 a.m.- 11 a.m.). This is for baby pool and lap swim.
- Commuter swim will continue as normal, with Friday August, 29 as the last day.
- The pool will begin to closer earlier, due to early darkness. Please check with the front desk if you have any questions as this time will change daily.
The Maplewood Community Pool season continues through Labor Day, September 1, 2014.
