Once again, the Township of Maplewood, NJ is inviting veterans, their families and the general public to its annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony at the Maplewood Municipal Building on Friday, November 11 at 11 a.m. followed by lunch in the lobby.
The ceremony is notable in that it hands the reins to the vets who each take a turn passing the microphone to testify to their branch of the armed services, time served, theater of engagement, family history and more.
It’s a moving experience that surprises year after year.
