All dates for 2017 meetings have been posted (see below) for you to add to your calendar.
Even if you cannot show up in person, the meetings are broadcast on television and livestreamed on the South Orange-Maplewood School District website here: https://somatv.pegstream.com/
Board of Education meetings are broadcast live on:
- Channel 35 in Maplewood
- Channel 19 in South Orange
- Verizon FiOS Channel 22 in both Maplewood and South Orange.
Board meetings are also re-broadcast on the same channels every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. and every Thursday at 11:30 a.m. until the next board meeting and are available on-demand:https://somatv.pegcentral.com/
Board of Education meetings commence on Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m.
Typically the meetings take place in the District Meeting Room at the Board of Education Administration Building, 525 Academy Street, Maplewood. However, due to some facilities issues, meetings have been taking place in the Columbia High School auditorium while repairs are being made to the District Meeting Room. Check the district website for meeting agendas beforehand — each agenda contains location information.
