South Orange Police arrested Hakeem Love, a 37 year old South Orange resident, on Monday after a report of an “aggressive panhandler” at Dunkin Donuts on South Orange Avenue and Sloan Street, according to the police blotter.
At around 5:40 a.m, officers saw Love, who matched several witnesses’ description, inside the doughnut shop and after further investigation learned he had multiple, active warrants for his arrest in South Orange and Maplewood. Officers arrested Love and transported him to headquarters where he was processed.
