This winter, the South Mountain YMCA and the Maplewood Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs joined forces to offer The Family Room: Exploration at Your Doorstep on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 11:30, educational play, big blue blocks, dramatic play, tactile toys and games, trains and legos for children ages 6 months to 11 years.
It’s a great way for families and kids to connect. Plus, there’s coffee — for the grownups only.
Individual drop-ins are $10 for Members and $15 for Community Members. The Family Room takes place at the Civic House in Maplewood and runs on Saturdays through March 25.
