All floors of the Gateway luxury apartment building in South Orange have received certificates of occupancy and are open, according to Village Administrator Barry Lewis.
“They are opened and he [development Ed Ayuso] anticipates some of his commercial tenants moving in shortly. You can see some of the awnings are up,” said Lewis.
Also revealed at the South Orange Board of Trustees meeting on November 24: all one-bedroom units at the Gateway are completely rented out.
Lewis also reported that the 3rd & Valley housing development is on schedule for completion by December 2015.
“The deck is moving along,” added Lewis, who said that a follow-up meeting was scheduled for next week with the South Orange Parking Authority to “iron out” some issues with operation of the deck.
