South Orange

Above Restaurant & Bar will host a Super Bowl party starting at 4 p.m. on Sunday.  Come watch the game on one of their 13 high definition televisions.  Food and drink specials include $4 well drinks and $3 Yuengling and Coors.

Boccone South is offering 25% off dinner or take out on Super Bowl Sunday. (And to feed your post Super Bowl blues — customers on Monday and Tuesday night receive a free appetizer.)

Bunny’s Sports Bar opens at 2 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday with Happy Hour starting at 4 p.m.

Gaslight Brewery & Restaurant at 15 South Orange Avenue will have wings specials and a half time buffet, plus giveaways and specials for Ground Hog Day.

Ricalton’s Village Tavern co-owner Tom McLaughlin says that besides the regular Sunday Jazz Brunch, Ricalton’s will have drink specials downstairs in “The Snug” with four Seattle beers and four New England beers on tap, where the Super Bowl will be shown on three screen. Upstairs, Ricalton’s is keeping it regular with the Super Bowl on its eight televisions at the main bar. Ricalton’s open at 10 a.m. for brunch. The Snug opens at 11 a.m. Alcohol service starts at noon.

Maplewood

St. James’s Gate will be firing up its four television screens and offering 20 oz bud lights for just $3. The Gate will also be serving Super Bowl menu specials at the bar, including $2 hot dogs, nachos with guacamole and salsa for $6, nachos with chili or chicken for $8, 20 wings for $10, and mozzarella sticks and potato skins. For those who are partying at home, the Gate is serving up party platters to go (order here). The Gate opens its doors at 11 a.m. on Sunday; the kitchen closes at 10 p.m.

O’Reilly’s Bar & Grill — O’Reilly’s at 2208 Millburn Avenue has 20 — yes, 2-0 — television screens. They will have a free halftime buffet with six foot subs, Swedish meatballs, baked ziti, sausage and peppers. No cover. AND they will be doing prize giveaways during the game.

Coda Kitchen & Bar will have happy hour pricing on all  bar food for the Super Bowl.

Take Out

Roman Gourmet is offering one large plain pizza (18″), 12 wings and a 2 liter soda for $19.99 + tax. Toppings extra.

Gigi’s Cupcakes is featuring a Beer & Pretzel cupcake for Super Bowl. The cupcake is made up of Guinness Stout chocolate cake with caramel vanilla frosting dipped in crushed dark chocolate covered pretzels.

Maplewood Deli & Grille is offering all its specialty subs and classic deli sandwiches for just $8 — with fountain drink (see the flier).
